WithMarsha is an educational application for learning and practicing DBT skills. It is not therapy, not a clinical mental health service, and not a substitute for care from a qualified mental health professional.
The AI suggests psychoeducational content from a structured skills library based on your input — it does not assess your mental health, diagnose any condition, or provide clinical treatment of any kind.
Specifically, WithMarsha is NOT:
- •A substitute for professional mental health care
- •Psychotherapy or counseling
- •Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- •A crisis intervention service
- •A replacement for medication or other prescribed treatments
Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals for medical or mental health concerns.
AI Technology Limitations
Marsha is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) technology. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness, you should be aware that:

- •Marsha cannot understand context or nuance like a human therapist
- •The AI cannot detect emergencies or assess risk
- •Responses are generated based on patterns, not clinical judgment
- •The technology may have biases or limitations we're working to address

Not Affiliated with Dr. Marsha Linehan
WithMarsha is inspired by and teaches skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which was developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan. However:
- •We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Dr. Marsha Linehan
- •We are NOT affiliated with the Linehan Institute or Behavioral Tech
- •The name "Marsha" is used as a tribute to Dr. Linehan's work
- •Our interpretation of DBT may differ from official DBT protocols
